Parks and Recreation
The town of Kanarraville takes great pride in the maintenance and upkeep of their public parks. The responsible use of these beautiful facilities creates opportunities for family, social, and cultural events, and the physical well-being for residents and visitors.
We love our parks. Please show respect for our facilities through responsible recreation.Town Park
Town Park is located adjacent to Town Hall and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, just off of Main Street between Center Street and 100 South. Several large trees line the park and provide ample shade from afternoon sun. The park is available for picnics, outdoor wedding receptions, family reunions, and recreational activities (no reservations taken). The north end of the park contains a basketball court, picnic tables, swings, slides, and a children’s climbing fort. This location is a pivotal part of the town’s 4th and 24th of July activities every year that include children’s games and fun for the whole family.
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash. Owners are required to clean up after their pets.Cobble Crest
The Cobble Crest was built in the 1930’s as a dance hall shortly after the town was incorporated and has been enjoyed by the community ever since. The “half-shell” provides a stage for musicians and performers and is used frequently for dances and entertainment.
The Cobble Crest is located on the corner of 100 South and 200 East, about two blocks from Town Hall. It is available to rent for reunions, weddings, and parties. Rentals are by the day and is only available May 1st-September 30th every year. The large mature trees provide ample shade during the summer months and the Snack Shack includes a small kitchen and serving area, refrigerator and ice machine, grill, and fryer. There is also a covered picnic area, several picnic tables located throughout the park, volleyball court and horseshoe pit, and restroom facilities.
The charge is $150 for Residents and $250 for Non-Residents. There is also a $150 cleaning deposit required for all reservations. This cleaning deposit is refundable if all conditions in the rental agreement have been met.
