Fire Department
The Kanarraville Fire Department was first organized in 1961 by a group of 20 women who formed the first all-female volunteer fire department. It is currently staffed by about a dozen volunteers. Members receive periodic training in equipment operation, firefighting techniques, wildland firefighting, First Responder and CPR, and safety. The fire department operates independently but may also receive assistance from New Harmony and Cedar City. If you would like to be a part of this important team, please contact Town Hall at (435) 867-1852.
