Appeal Authority
The Kanarraville Appeal Authority is responsible for hearing and deciding requests for variances and appeals to land use decisions. This board meets as needed at Kanarraville Town Hall, 40 South Main. To convene the Appeal Authority there has to have been a negative vote from both the Planning & Zoning and Town Boards.

Mayor and Town Board
Kanarraville’ s governing body consists of a Mayor and four Town Board members. All terms of office are four years. The Town Board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at Town Hall.

Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning Commission is a five-person body that reviews matters related to land development and use for the town. The Planning & Zoning Commission also serves as an advisory council for the Town Board. This commission meets every first Thursday at 7 pm at Town Hall. For all land development or land use issues, you must receive approval from Planning & Zoning before being placed on the Town Board Agenda.
